Holmforsen

Holmforsen is a very beautiful rapid, which has got its name from because of the islands (holm) in it.

There are two cabins on the eastern side of the river, at the top of the picture, beautifully situated on a slope down to the river.

We have also restored an old cabin on the western side of the river, next to the water. It is a little more secluded and you will have to carry your equipment a few hundred metres form the nearest road – though it’s worth the effort to stay so close to wonderful fishing waters. You can see the cabin on the picture at the bottom. It is a little outside the aerial photo, to the left of the picture and below the river.

Yet another decent Långan brown trout caught in Holmforsen by one of our many "regulars".
